Wiggins to withdraw, refile in sheriff's race
The All Crimes Enforcement Team commander said his agency would be finished spending a federal grant early next week. He'll refile for the Routt County sheriff's race then, to avoid any possible Hatch Act violation.

Wind shuts ski area; power outages reported
Gusts up to 79 mph forced the closure of all lifts at Mount Werner today and canceled tonight's activities. At least one Yampa Valley Regional Airport United Airlines flight to and from Denver was canceled, and YVEA officials said a few hundred local customers were affected by power outages Thursday night and today.
